Every child has the fundamental right to grow up entirely free from violence, exploitation, abuse, and neglect. DoDo Initiatives establishes multi-layered child protection frameworks to safeguard vulnerable children within Gayaza and surrounding communities.
- Preventing Violence Against Children (VAC): Setting up active school-based and community-level child protection committees to identify, report, and mitigate risks of child abuse, child labor, and physical violence.
- Community Case Management & Referrals: Strengthening local reporting pathways by training community structures to respond rapidly to child protection violations, offering immediate psychosocial support and secure legal or social service referrals.
- Advocacy & Child Rights Awareness: Running targeted sensitization campaigns for parents, guardians, and local institutional leaders to reinforce positive parenting practices and safeguard children’s fundamental right to safety and uninterrupted education.
